Just finished Tell me a Story. As a native Beaufortonian enjoyed it immensely. We lived on Mossy Oaks Road so am very familiar with Battery Creek. I was a member of the Class of 68 at BHS. We were the first class he taught after he graduated from the CID. I think he taught us Calculus and that was an experience.
We may have known or thought we new as much as he did. I've read all his books and thought that he was going to write one about our class. I spoke to you once thought we talked about it. About Tell Me a Story as with his books, it is all the more intriguing to know the people, places and things that both of you talked about. Great read!
